Wilson Xavier Eloreta

Wilson finished his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Central Luzon State University, Nueva Ecija, and currently working as a Forest Technician at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). He has previously worked as a Laboratory Technician at UNILAB and Science Research Assistant at the Institute of Climate Change and Environment Management, CLSU.

He formerly worked on a project assessing the biodiversity of different ecosystems with one of the critical watersheds in the Philippines, the Pantabangan-Carranglan Watershed Rainforest Reserve. As a young environment advocate, Wilson wants to promote wildlife conservation.

Previously, he has helped several Environment Science and Biology undergraduate students with their thesis, wherein he gave pieces of advice and taught several new techniques and guidelines bounded by their field.

With the aim of advocating wildlife conservation, Wilson joined to be a SIDHI mentor to reach out and help high school students and share his knowledge in Biodiversity and Ecology.

His message for aspiring Scientists? “Keep striving, there is no hindrance in everything you want to achieve!”
